Did you see the film? Did you read Rhonda Byrne’s book?
If so, I want to learn more.
- Before you saw the film or read the book, did you consider yourself a student of ancient wisdom or what is now often called “new age” philosophy?
- If so, did you find The Secret to be new, a mix of new ideas AND things you had read or seen elsewhere, a handy summary of “the literature,” or old stuff in a new package?
- Bottom line, has The Secret changed your life?
I haven’t seen the film or read the book. However, the book is on order, so before it shows up, I’m curious about your reactions as well as its impact.
Has the information made you feel generally happier and more empowered?
Can you point to any changes in your life that you can attribute to your use of the information in the book or the film? That is, have you proven to yourself that the philosophy works?
Tell me your story.
I have seen the film, have not read the book. Seeing the film did not bring any immediate change to my life. It reinforced information which I already knew and was practicing. I believe that most students of ancient wisdom will not find anything new here. The film have some great visuals on how the law of attraction works. It was slanted to the material side of a persons wants, however that is because of who their target audience is.
I think you will enjoy, I would be suprised if you find anything new in this film or book. Never hurts to see this information in a different format.
tobeme,
Your mentioning the film made me wonder if, for some, the nature of the medium–what with music, stunning visuals, etc.–might be inspirational to people who (a) seldom think about such subjects or (b) know the material but need to be re-energized to start practising the techniques again.
Without a doubt, many people are attracted to this medium over the printed text. I enjoy both.
well,it has gotten me a job which so many people are still dreaming of.i make things happen in my life.most are not instant, but some are.it all depends on your level of faith in yourself and in the secret.my faith\confidence is becoming stronger.now i don’t fear nothing be it debts or fines or job.what i want i get.that’s it
Hi obi,
You are really getting great results from the principles outlined in The Secret. I like your point about having confidence and faith in oneself. That’s the key, isn’t it?
There’s an old proverb out there along these lines that goes something like this: What the mind of man can perceive and believe, it can achieve.
Thanks for commenting.

Read the book and film reinforced what I read. Both have changed the way in which I lead my life. I return to both frequently, so that I remember the principles and act in accordance with them.
I wonder how many people discovered the book after seeing the film. The film as the inspiration of a multi-media approach; the book is a handy reference.
Thanks for your visit and comments.
